Job Description

As an Operations Intern at FabMinds, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our 3D printing ecosystem—from managing internal workflows to assisting with inventory, supplier research, and process improvement. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how tech-enabled manufacturing works behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow Mapping: Document and analyze internal processes (e.g., filament reordering or design-to-print) to identify areas for improvement.
Data & Sustainability Support: Assist in analyzing operational data and researching sustainable practices like filament recycling or eco-packaging.
Supplier Research: Identify and compare filament and equipment suppliers based on pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
Order & Quotation Management: Help prepare RFQs, organize supplier responses, and track order and delivery statuses.
Inventory & Documentation: Support physical stock checks, update inventory records, and assist in maintaining internal documentation and SOPs.

Preferred Qualifications

Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines).
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and digital tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, and Microsoft Lists.
Analytical Mindset: Able to approach problems methodically and contribute to process improvement and data analysis tasks.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in documentation and inventory tracking.
Proactive & Curious: Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
